Step 1 - Navigate to VMware under the Virtual Networking Tab

To create a VMware VMM Domain, navigate to:

1. Virtual Networking
2. Click VMware
3. Right-click on VMware
4. Click Create vCenter Domain

Step 2 - Create VMware VMM Domain

Create a VMware VMM Domain:

1. Name the Virtual Switch Name: aci_p21_dc3_vds
2. Ensure the Virtual Switch is set to VMware vSphere Distributed Switch (this is the default)
3. In the AEP dropdown, select your VMM AEP you created earlier: aci_p21_vmm_aep
4. In the VLAN Pool dropdown, select your dynammic VLAN Pool you created earlier: aci_p21_dynamic_vlanpool
5. Click the plus button (+) in the vCenter Credentials section to create your vCenter Credentials Profile

Step 3 - Create vCenter Credentials Profile

Create a vCenter Credentials Profile that will be used to authenticate with the vCenter:

1. Name the vCenter Credentials Profile: aci_p21_credentials
2. Set the Username to: pod21u1
3. Set the Password to: cisco.123
4. Click OK

Step 4 - Continue Creating VMware VMM Domain by Adding vCenter Profile

The next step in creating a VMware VMM Domain is to create a profile for the vCenter controller:

1. Scroll down in the wizard until you see vCenter:
2. Click the plus button (+) in the vCenter section to create your vCenter Profile

Step 5 - Create vCenter Profile

The next step in creating a VMware VMM Domain is to create a profile for the vCenter controller:

1. Name the vCenter Profile: acilab_vcenter
2. Name the vCenter IP Address to: 10.0.226.193
3. Set the Datacenter name to: dc_pod21
4. In the Associated Credential dropdown, select your previously created credentials profile: aci_p21_credentials
5. Click OK

Step 6 - Complete the VMware VMM Domain Setup

To finish the setup of your VMware VMM Domain,

1. Scroll down until you see Port Channel Mode:
2. Set the Port Channel Mode to LACP Active
3. For the vSwitch Policy, select CDP for this lab
4. Click Submit

Step 7 - Add Enhanced Lag Policy

To finish the setup of your VMware VMM Domain follow the steps below:

1. Click On your VMM vDS
2. Click on Policy
3. Click VSwitch Policy
4. Click Plus sign
5. Name: lag1
6. Mode: LACP Active
7. Load Balancing Mode: Source and Destination IP Address and TCP/UDP Port
8. Click Update
